Author's Notes: First of all, this chapter is dedicated to Seena. Wow... She wrote me a 17-page review, taking over three hours (and now it's gone! *sob*)!!! I can't believe it! That's the longest review I've ever seen! It had to be split into two reviews! She commented on EVERYTHING I said! Now THAT, my friends, is a REVIEW... Hmm, and it seems there are other rants popping up here and there... I especially recommend "Change the darn theme song already!" by Maya Kaiba if you like this, because it's written in the same style, and the authoress notices a lot of the same things I do(note: This was deleted also). Or if you're in a bit more of a bashing mood, go look at "YuGiOh rants!" by rinchan. Oops, that one was deleted. That's too bad. I think I'd cry if this rant were deleted... (curse my foresight!) And another new one is "I was Wondering YuGiOH! Style!" by Orenji-chan. That one's pretty good too. I think I'm going to try to update this every week instead of every other week, at least every time there's at least one new episode. That'll mean shorter chapters... So I'll end up responding to your reviews a lot more!

Rantings of a Rabid Yu-Gi-Oh Fan

You guys first! Lots of hostility over Malik's voice...

Yes, yes, I know what the Monster Reborn card does now! Eep, you overwhelmed me! O_O Of course, it's my own fault for not just looking at my own card to see...

Everybody: One of my friends and fellow authors is apparently having some trouble with her Yu-Gi-Oh fic. It's a very angsty self-insert, which I normally don't like, but this one has some really interesting aspects and is actually very good... But she's been getting horrible flames for it! I haven't seen them myself, but I've heard about them. Many have to do with the fact that her character falls in love with the Dark Magician. Now come on you guys! How many of us haven't felt something from a mild crush to a full-blown obsession with one character or another? So why is it so bad when somebody actually ADMITS it, and writes about it? It isn't badly written, either. Very well done, actually. I couldn't do that because sadly, I'm far too fickle with both anime and real life guys to commit to just one. But there's no reason to flame a story like that! I know she and I don't share many, if any, readers, but I just thought I'd remind you guys: BE NICE, DAMMIT!!

MaidenoftheMoon: What kind of a Best Buy doesn't have something as popular as Yu-Gi-Oh? What a backward place...
When I get some money, I'm going to buy the subtitled seasons 1-3 from animeniacs.com. Ebay worries me...

Indigo: There are so many of us, though! I've been calling myself Indigo since I was 12, way before I started writing here. So nyaa! But I very much approve of your choice of name. ^_^

Jessica Raptor: The Dark Magician shook his finger at Seto when Yugi dueled him the second time, too.

Lori Kimaya: Nope, Battle City has yet to start here in America. Almost, though! Bakura will play a big part in it, and who knows? Maybe he got on Seto's helicopter in time to ride back home!

Seashell: Well yes, but any interaction spawns fanfics, whether m/f romance, yaoi, humor, angst, or whatever.
I get my information from the show, mostly. I've found a bit on the internet too, though not as much as there should be. Here's where I get my information about future episodes: http://www.stormpages.com/edhrzic/Yugies.htm

Mikazumi-chan: Nudist Kingdom, huh? Pretty strange...

Katana: I know what you mean! I feel bad getting rid of old toys and knick-knacky things, because I don't want to hurt their feelings! And yep, player killers suck...

JaguarKitty2006: Shh! I'll see Bakura as feminine if I want to!

Setowriter123456: Actually, my favorite comic shop near my house sells huge issues of Shonen Jump with Japanese Yu-Gi-Oh and others for only about $5. I have one, and I need to get more next time I'm there.
And while some American songs work well with parts of it, I don't think putting them in the series would be a good idea...

Shadowwolf: Putting Yu-Gi-Oh on Adult Swim would be a great idea! They'd probably dub it anyway, but if they would just re-dub it, that'd be great! I'd even be happy with that.

The Evil Laugh: You're noticing things too? Great! I'm doing my job, then! ^_^ Yeah, characters without pupils do look blind. Especially if they have light-colored eyes. Except Shadi. He's got those smoky blue eyes that get lighter towards the center, and he doesn't look blind to me.
True, Bakura does need to narrate the duels. Because everybody else is too stupid to see for themselves!
And thank you very much! I'm glad you see how obsessed I am! I take that as a very high compliment.

Seena: Wow. I won't even try to answer MOST of this! But I'll answer a few... This is truly the longest review I've ever seen in my life. If I weren't afraid this fic would be deleted, I'd show the staff at FF.N the reviews, because it's gotta be some kind of record.
I like Yuugi's hair better than Yami's too.
Ah, paranoid parents... My mom's like that. I ignore her. ^_^
I love Yami Bakura too, but I don't know if he was really trying to save anyone...
Can you see little Yuugi with the Millennium Shield!? It would crush him! My account was locked for a while, because a while ago I made two "ask the cast" fics, one for Slayers and one for Yu-Gi-Oh. Someone in the Slayers one reviewed to tell me that her ask the cast fic had been deleted and she didn't think I should do this. A day or so later, mine was gone and I got an e-mail saying I couldn't upload anything for almost a week. That made me mad. I'm pretty sure that same person reported me. Anyway...
Would you really wish Tea's soul on Yami Bakura? I wouldn't!
Here's my strategy for beating Otogi (though it might not work): When he brought his Relentless monster over to Yami's side, that left his own side relatively unprotected. Yami could summon another fast monster who could get past the Relentless monster (if that's possible), jump into the warp hole, come out on the other side, and whack the last heart point.
And yes, I did actually read all that. ^_^ And had a great time doing it! I still can't get over how long it was!! Hope you find YOUR rants some time!

Saki: I don't know about Isis. I think her name's fine, but you never know. It's the name of a goddess, and they hate religious references!

SalAmanda: Actually, I hear that he's working on a fourth season. Where Yami Bakura will play a big part! Yay! ^_^ I have a feeling the missing Exodia cards will turn up again some day... Although it might be easier just to buy new ones!

Ayrrie: Yep, I saw it... I'm not extremely happy with Malik's voice either, but it could have been worse, you know.

The Honey-Soaked, Chocolate-Dipped, Cinnamon-Sprinkled Mage of Teddy Grahams: Wow that's a long name... I think subtitling it would be cheaper, but a good part of their audience can't read very well and/or don't want to concentrate that much, so yes, I think it would lose them money. Not to mention all the things they'd still feel like they had to edit out.
I agree that it was sweet but stupid of Yugi to put Yami first in the fire... The Puzzle wouldn't have melted if he'd left it there, would it? He could just clean it off.
Ryou's swinging in to knock Keith down, and then later when he fell were pretty funny...
But Tea's sick kitty WAS a bit too much.
And Yugi was so cute in his pajamas! ^_^ Aww...

KawaiiBlackMoon: Yeah, Malik did sound a bit like Hiei (that's a strangely-spelled name!) and Babidi.
And if you ever expect them to put the Japanese songs on an American soundtrack, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed. They're too mean to do that. If anyone's got either of the Japanese soundtracks though, which is better? Which has more vocals?

Yami Yugi is Mine: Ooh, good observations. If I had seen the Japanese version, I'd probably notice those things too... Well, after Christmas I will... Dubbers are so dumb! Those stupid fools...

Tenken Chick: Oh I don't know, I think while writing Three In One Combo, I successfully convinced myself that all the Items have spirits in them. Some of them just would rather not show themselves.

Okay, now me!

- According to my scheduling source (Toon Zone, Kids WB current schedule), this week's new episodes were the last new ones for a while. Until at least mid-December. That sucks so much!!! Rrg, I can't stand the suspense!! That page has been wrong before, but even so! How horrible!

- Niwatori (the bird-like card they crossed the virtual desert on) means chicken! Hee hee!

- Yami's smug little smirk when he appears is pretty annoying.

- When Yugi and Seto started dueling, they each threw five star chips at each other. Did they just land on the ground?

- ...and when Seto played Ryu-Kishin Powered, he called it plain old Ryu-Kishin. They're different monsters!

- Also in that battle, when Seto's explaining his De-Spell card, his eyes suddenly get really big, but his irises stay really small. Scary!

- Seto's Holy Elf's Blessing magic card, which looks like (and was called) the Mystical Elf, has pretty eyes. Yugi's Mystical Elf might be more interesting with open eyes!

- How DID Pegasus expect the duelists to get around with no food, water, or shelter in Duelist Kingdom? Was that another elimination method? It'd get rid of those stupid enough not to bring food...

- People always seem to start out with a weak monster, which of course gets killed. Why not start with a strong one for once?

- All the duels (with very few exceptions) end up with the scores so close! Would it kill them to win or lose easily for a change?

- Mako Tsunami announced that he was playing his Giant Jellyfish, then he placed it facedown. Why announce it if you're going to do that?

- When paired with the Horn of the Unicorn, the Feral Imp grew pants! And every time since that first time against Mako, he's had the pants!

- Here's a disturbing speculation. Mako's father is out there somewhere. An old man with spiky gray hair. Who do we know with gray spiky hair? Only Yugi's grandpa. What if Mako were Yugi's uncle or, heaven forbid, his father! Not true, I know, but interesting to think about. Long-lost family members are so much fun!

- Seto said Kuriboh was the weakest monster in the game, but there are plenty of weaker ones!

- Seto had to ask Yugi what the Living Arrow card was! It's a very good card, so you'd think he'd know.

- Yami was so mean to Seto in their second duel! Seto looked like he was about to cry, and Yami still had that smug little smirk on his face.

- When Seto's younger self stepped out and told him he was a horrible person (in the same episode), the young Seto sounded far too old.

- ...and in that episode, Tea was so horrible! It sickened me. How could she be so happy, looking right at Seto's face?

- I didn't like Mai at first, but after she told Tea to cut it out with the friendship rants, she gained my infinite respect.

- There were some strong winds when Seto went up to stand on the castle wall behind his Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. Good thing he's got good balance!

- Joey said everything was riding on Tea and Mai's duel. But if Tea had lost, things wouldn't be any worse than they were! And Mai probably would have given Yugi the star chips anyway.

- The Petit Angel sounds like a squeaky toy.

- If Tea beat Joey multiple times using Waboku like Honda said, how could she forget what it did?

- Urg, Tea reminds me of my brother. Wimpy, annoying, doesn't know when to shut up, takes things too seriously...

- If Tea's been beating Joey so much, how can she be so bad at playing against Mai?

- I wonder if Yugi, Joey, Mai, or Keith kept the eyeballs they found in their soup. I would have!

- I don't like Keith, but I felt sort of bad for him when Yugi gave Joey the Glory of the King's Hand card and they ignored him. I guess they didn't know, but Keith seemed to take it personally.

- I wonder if that hole pointing to Pegasus's tower had any significance?

- Eee!! Ryou's so cute!

- Hee hee! Honda called Pegasus "Pegsy"!

- I couldn't think of the Puzzle's unique power before, but I think it's probably the ability to always win everything. Wish I had that power! I'm very lucky, but I never win anything, at least nothing with prizes...

- Hey! I'll bet when Pegasus took Tea, Bakura, and Honda to that Egyptian room, it was really the Eye's spirit and his soul room! Yep, I've been writing about the spirits too much lately...

- ...and now Yugi's calling Yami "the spirit of the Puzzle" again. Make up your mind!

- Bakura told his ring to show him the way to the Puzzle AFTER it pointed...

- Malik's voice isn't all that bad... From what I remember. A bit too... high? Not quite right somehow. How would you describe it?

- Yugi said he'd never fought a duel without Yami. What about Rebecca? He did that alone fairly easily. And how about when he dueled his friends at school?

- When Yugi takes the first turn, he should learn to play the monster face-down!

- Keith looked drugged when he was under Malik's control. Nasty and creepy!

- Malik's got a cool ship! What was he doing there when he picked up Keith, though? Looking for rare cards, I bet.

- Keith begged for Yugi's help when he tried to fight against Malik. He's a little more likely to do that than Seto, but I still don't think he would.

- They changed Magical Mist to... Makeyu? Something like that.

- Ha. Zera the Mant doesn't impress me. I've seen better.

- Mmm, Malik's hot!

- Keith suddenly got much better cards than he had before. Did he get them from Malik?

- One minute Bakura was on the ledge behind Yugi, then when the camera showed Yugi, Bakura wasn't there.

- You know, Yami Bakura's pretty nice, although he tries so hard not to be!

- Malik does use a fake name for a while. Maybe the false name will be Terrence. That wouldn't be so bad at all.

- Breaking the Puzzle can't be good for Yami.

- That was Ryou who knocked Keith down, not Yami Bakura! I'm impressed. Maybe Bakura leapt and then shoved Ryou into control! How confusing for Ryou!

- Hee hee! Now Bakura's soul is in the Puzzle forever! Yay!

- Aww, Yugi's so sweet and selfless to Yami. I think the Puzzle would have been okay if he'd left it there, though.

- It's amazing that Joey thought to tell Honda to rescue Yugi's deck in the fire.

- Wow, Joey and Honda even want hospital food...

- Yay, Bakura's back and Malik's here! I'm so happy.

- I'm kind of surprised that Yami didn't do anything to save Yugi from the fire after the Puzzle was completed again...

- There has been evidence recently that Malik will in fact NOT be called Terrence, but Maric! This comes from people who were smart enough to watch last week's episodes in closed captions. Rejoice!! I believe I'll celebrate!

- The more they repeat the episodes, the less I have to say about them. Ack!

- Where does Bakura keep the Millennium Eye? In his pocket? Or maybe in Ryou's room?

- For that matter, when Isis gives Yugi the Tauk (Necklace... peh...), how will he carry it? I doubt he'd wear it like a necklace, though you never know. Again, maybe in his room?

- Even down in the dark dungeons, Pegasus's guards wear sunglasses!

- When Pegasus played his Red Archery Girl, Yugi wondered why Pegasus played such a weak monster. But the Beaver Warrior HE played was even weaker! It wasn't too strong even with the Horn of the Unicorn!

- The Yugi vs. Pegasus duel started really slowly! The first episode of it was only 3 of Yugi's turns and 2 of Pegasus's.

- In the Rex vs. Joey duel, they said that Joey shoved Honda when he obviously punched him.

- It's a lot cooler when Ryou changes to Bakura than when Yugi becomes Yami. But maybe that's just because Ryou doesn't do it as often or yell anything dumb.

- I like the Summoned Skull's voice. It's almost a purr, not a growl.

- I think Yami Bakura's motives in rescuing Honda and Mokuba might not have been purely selfish. He could have sent Honda and all the guards to the graveyard right away, or turned them into cards and left them. But he didn't. Poor guy, he tries so hard to be mean...

- When Ryu-Ran became a toon, Pegasus called him "Manga Ryu-Ran." Why?

- The Toon World book has the Toon Archery Girl and Manga Ryu-Ran on its covers.

- Doppelganger's so cool!

- The Summoned Skull makes a good Toon.

- Bakura's stronger than he looks, being able to pull Honda and Mokuba back when they were leaning away from him.

- Did you see Yugi's mental image of Seto, Mokuba, and Grandpa? Grandpa's not much taller than Mokuba!

- When Pegasus tried to read Yami's mind and his friends blocked the Eye, Pegasus looked completely disgusted. I would be too!

- Notice that when Pegasus and Bakura use their Millennium Items in a duel, it's cheating, but when Yugi uses his Puzzle, it's noble, honorable, and wonderfully skillful. Hmm...

- In Pegasus's final duel against Yugi, he really looks like he has a yami. Narrow eyes, slightly crazy, lots of vertical lines between his eyes...

- When Pegasus talked about fusing Relinquished with the Thousand Eyes Idol, his voice laughed while his face looked really angry.

- Tea sometimes looks too determined when she's saying something mushy.

- When Yugi gets really upset, close to crying, he makes that angry huffing sound. I think they're trying to make him sound tougher, but it just sounds inappropriate.

- Yugi likes to multiply Kuriboh. Could he do it to something else for a change?

- Pegasus was almost crying, in a state of shock, when he lost to Yugi. How did he leave so quickly without anyone noticing? Yugi has really unobservant friends.

- I was watching the Iron Chef turkey battle last night, and Chairman Kaga's ruffly blue suit was truly worthy of Pegasus! But I've never seen Pegasus wear that much of that shade of blue.

- What do you think of Isis's voice? It's not bad, but not quite what I had in mind. It got slightly annoying after a while, especially the second time she mentioned her "Millennium Necklace"...

- WHAT!? Ishizu!? No! Why? I'm still calling her Isis. At least they kept her last name, though.

- The "Domino Museum" sign looked really fake and out of place!

- I like Seto's new trench coat! It rules! He looks great in it.

- So Tea had a significant dream? Perhaps she has an occasional use after all.

- Yami's eyes made him cute in the carving.

- The Millennium Rod in the carving didn't look quite right. Unless it was just a generic dueling rod or something? Because Seto's opponent had one also.

- I knew they'd call the Tauk the Necklace! Those fools!

- Seto had the Ankh in the past too? Or was that just jewelry?

- I like Egyptian Seto's hat!

- Again, Yami implies that he knew he was the Pharaoh! How much DOES he know?

- Those robed chanters are rather annoying.

- Mmm, shirtless Seto and Yami...

- Seto seemed much more aware of the heart of the "cards" (heart of the tablets maybe, lily22? ;) in ancient Egypt.

- They're still calling them God Cards! Yay! And Legendary Monsters. Oh well.

- I think they messed up the God Card sotry... Did Isis really get them from Pegasus?

- Obelisk is a magic card. Must look up what it does...

- Seto's "KC" belt buckle is too big. He's not from Texas, people! (No offense, Texans!)

- Who was the "Pharaoh's loyal servant" who faced the mage Seto? He sounded like Mako Tsunami.

- The "Winged Dragon of Ra" is really a griffon. Get it right!

- Joey and Honda get into the strangest positions!

- How in the WORLD would Tea be able to help Yami remember things!?

- Yugi really asked Tea to go out on a date with Yami to help him get his mind off things, if I remember correctly.

- Yami looked so cool and silly yelling at Yugi in the puzzle when Yugi forced him out! It was great!

- Poor Yami, having to go out with Tea... And did you see the pigeons? That was so funny!

- When Yami was looking at booster packs of cards with Tea, he asked which "card" to get. As if they were just individual cards.

- Yami was cute when he caught Tea's jacket. And when he was watching her dance!

- I wasn't a big fan of Yami before, but after today, I think he rules. For now, at least.

- Johnny Step's nasty. In behavior AND looks.

- Porcupine head! Ha ha!

- Tea let Yami fight for her? What a loser. She could have won another dance match with that fool. I was starting to gain a tiny bit of respect for her, but not any more!

- Yami just can't give dueling a rest, can he?

- Yami gave Johnny Step far more credit as a duelist than he deserved. He completely sucked!

- So two females (Witch of the Black Forest and Lady of Faith) make a male (Musician King)? I know it's easily possible in the game, but still, pretty strange.

- Yami's dueling was really off against Johnny Step.

- The Dark Magician looked a bit tired today, too.

- And what kind of a loser-name is Johnny Step!!

- Did you see how tall Tea's shoes were? And pink too... Bleh.

- Aren't they going to show Yami looking through the museum!? That's what I want to see! How ANNOYING!!

Yay, yay, reviews! You guys rule SOOOOOO much! I love you all! More reviews for me! ^_^ I have to go get a new notebook now, because the one I was using for this is more than full!
