Seto Kaiba: *glares* No one here owns Yu-Gi-Oh… Though if I decide to buy it, there will be some immediate changes, let me tell you…
Kagaya: Yeah, they cut out a shot of exactly what the video looked like. It was a Street Fighter-ish game.
Oh yes. And I’ll go to see the movie, and get the cards!
Blah, I’ve always been taught to use tabs. I don’t always for tiny assignments, but I always do for real papers.
Senui: *glares and hides his chocolate* No. You can’t marry me or have my chocolate! …Or anyone else either! *runs off*
Sphinxfire: That’s okay, reruns happen! I don’t know what they’ll do with Shadi and his other parts, but I’m afraid for them!
Heh, I can see Yami Malik taking a canvas and burning it, and saying it was his soul. ^_^
No, the dub made that little music video thing for Kids WB too. What a pain!
Oh the dub’s explanation of Gozaburo is VERY fuzzy. I’m not sure about all that.
I don’t know, I suspect Astro Boy went the way of so many others on Kids WB… Hyped up at first, taken off without a word, and brought back up later as if they never stopped… Then it’ll disappear later. That’s sad, because from what I saw of it, it was really cute, and good too.
Wall of Illusion: Yeah… It’ll be so sad! But the series will continue! I’m not sure what’ll happen with Yu-Gi-Oh R, but we’ll see…
Aww… That’s sad! That’s how I usually am too, though I have been buying the DVD sets as they come out, bad subtitles and all. ^_^
Well I have a slightly higher opinion of Bobasa now, but I’m still not a huge fan of that particular aspect of Shadi.
Oh no, I’m glad Yami Malik didn’t kill Rishid, too! Heh, I saw how they edited the Rod to make it tamer… Silly dubbers!
Oh yes, Jounouchi can be pretty stupid too, but he’s practically a genius compared to Joey! He’s such comic relief. ^_^ It’s a little annoying sometimes, but I like it! Though the dub takes it too far, I think.
Heh, the Cape of Destruction just sounds so spectacularly lame…
That’s true, about Isis calling him “Kaiba” too much in the dub, but you have to remember, these are the same dubbers who had Mokuba call his OWN BROTHER “Kaiba.”
Amiasha: Ah, you’re right! He’s a Ghouls reject! ^_^ And with that hood, he’s trying way too hard!
Arg, I’m sure I lose many reviews that way… Go review something! ^_^
Oh I hope they don’t cut any characters. Hm, I’m not sure what they’ll do after Egypt… Probably another few fillers.
Well maybe I just haven’t seen the early episodes for a while, but Yami’s voice sounds a little different to me on Cartoon Network.
Hm, I don’t know… Looks like another inconsistency in the dub! They’re very vague about Gozaburo and Noa sometimes.
Yes, and I can’t wait to see what Yu-Gi-Oh R will be like! There’s hope for us who can’t let the series end! ^_^
- Noa’s mother must have been pretty. He certainly didn’t get his cuteness from his father.
- Hee hee, I love it when Yami Malik smashes things. ^_^ And so does he!
- They definitely left out the fact that Gozaburo had to be dead to digitize his mind, in the dub.
- Heh, Honda become more and more of a monkey…
- Ooh, I want the Ra card… but I don’t have an X-Box, so buying that game would just be stupid.
- Noa wasn’t really destroying the computer. He was targeting his fortress with the satellite, to kill everyone. He wanted the computers to keep working up until then, and was quite put out when he found that Yami Malik smashed it.
- Seto’s very tall!
- Gozaburo never planned to reprogram Seto as his servant! He meant to take over Seto’s body himself!
- Yami Malik can look SO disturbing!
- Okay, so if Gozaburo had all 5 Exodia parts in his hand by some miracle (or cheating) when he drew in the first turn, why didn’t he just use it and win right away? They explained it away, but I don’t trust that.
- No, Noa was trying to KILL everyone. Not “shut them down.”
- Hee hee, Yami Malik misses his fools. ^_^
- Mokuba’s going to be quite hot when he grows up, you know. He’ll have oodles of fangirls. Possibly even more than his brother!
- Arg! They cut the shot of Yami Malik smashing the computer room! That was a great scene, too! Maybe too violent for them, but I don’t think there was any blood or anything! Hmph, they spoil so much of Yami Malik’s fun…
- I wouldn’t call Exodia Necross the most feared creature in Duel Monsters. Seems like they get a new one of those in each duel.
- …Though I’ll admit, Exodia Necross is an impressive monster.
- No mechanical voice warned Noa to evacuate people from the virtual world.
- The dubbers’ new favorite word is ‘punk.’
- Heh, about that special offer, naming who played Exodia Necross… How many little kids could even begin to spell Gozaburo’s name? I’m sure plenty of older ones and adults couldn’t. How sad that people can’t spell…
