I know, I love Silent Magician and Silent Swordsman! They’re cute when they’re little and beautiful as adults.
Kagaya: Bleh, no, Gozaburo isn’t drool-worthy in looks OR in acts! And somehow I doubt that Seto would be your prom date even if you beat him… which considering how good he is, isn‘t likely.
Eh, I guess you’re right. Even Japanese TV has limits. ^_^
I don’t think they gave Noa’s dog a name in the dub.

- In the first duel of the Battle City Finals, Yami Yuugi claims to know that the one he’s facing isn’t Bakura… How does he know? What if it HAD been regular old Bakura? Who’s Yami to say that Bakura can’t duel? He certainly understands it better than most random people.
- What’s your favorite God Card? I like Ra, but I think my favorite would have to be Osiris. Just because it looks so cool. ^_^
- Have you seen the real duel disks that were made? They look like the Battle City ones, and they really work (without holograms, of course). That’d be cool to have, though they have to be expensive!
- The Alcatraz Duel Tower duel between Yuugi and Kaiba was REALLY impressive! So many cool plays! It’s probably the most exciting duel in the series so far! Oh, just all the quick-plays and strategies in the clash between Obelisk and Osiris were so AMAZING!
- The gods are so powerful, they even blow out TV screens they’re being shown on!
- In the flashback of the Pharaoh and priest Kaiba’s battle, their faces are dark, but their arms and legs are pale. ^_^
- Heh, when the Sennen Rod keeps giving out visions of the past, especially to Kaiba, Yami Mariku looks like he just wants to whack it against something hard. ^_^
- Mariku (yami version) is so eager to see the result of Yuugi and Kaiba’s duel!
- Yay for Bakura getting a second or two of screen-time in the “Warriors” opening song! ^_^
- EEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee, Black Paladin’s so COOL-LOOKING! *end fangirl mode (for now)*
- I wonder what Kaiba would have been like if he hadn’t had such a horrible past…
- Yami Mariku’s eyes get really cool in the last part of his duel against Jounouchi. They’re such a pale purple that they almost look white.
- Do you think Jounouchi will ever beat Kaiba? I doubt it, personally. He’d have to get REALLY lucky.
- Aww… Priest Kaiba wrote “friend” on the tablet he made in the Pharaoh’s tomb…
- I want a priest Kaiba hat…
- Towards the end of Yuugi’s duel with Kaiba at Alcatraz, Jounouchi’s spirit shows up in Yuugi’s mind to encourage him… And when he appears, Yuugi gets this look on his face that makes you wonder just where Jounouchi might have been sticking his fingers. ^_^
- Yami Mariku’s so creepy when he’s all veiny and licking his lips and such! He’s got quite a long, thin tongue.
- I’ve never seen anything revived as often as Ra was in the final duel between Yuugi and Mariku.
- WHOA! When Obelisk’s angry, it gets infinite attack! I thought that was just something dumb they made up for Dartz’s snake at the end of the Doom saga!
- At one point in the Yuugi vs. Mariku duel, Yami Mariku gets his face really close to the camera and his eyes go wide while his irises shrink… you know, the super creepy look. Well what my subtitles have him saying is, “Yuugi! Did you clean your neck?” I think he meant something more like “Did you cover your neck?” talking about setting a trap card, but still! That’s the funniest thing I’ve ever seen and heard! ^_^
- The dub makes it sound like Yami Bakura agreed In the end to put his host in control in his duel against Yuugi, but he hated the idea the whole time!
- I hate how they just assume that everyone who goes against Yuugi is evil. Some of them do evil things, plenty of them are bad, but not a single opponent, except maybe Zork in the Egypt arc, is truly evil. So nyaa, dubbers!
- If anyone’s been keeping up with the recent anime, Leon (the kid who looks a little like Ryou Bakura but with long maroon hair) uses some really interesting cards! Like one that looks like Cinderella, her pumpkin coach, and the Incredible Hulk.
- Speaking of Leon, he and Rebecca would make a really cute couple. ^_^
- Otogi’s name means “wonder” or something similar. “Otogi no kuni” means “wonderland.”
- In the final duel between Atemu and Yuugi, Atemu had the nerve to play Black Magician and Black Magician Girl against Yuugi… What a cheap shot, using his favorite cards against him!
- Everyone’s so much ruder in the dub. It’s because they’ve been Americanized. Heh…
- Don’t you love how the dub likes to tack “Destiny” onto card names?
- I believe Otohime, the girl monster that Noa used, is really called “Dragon Girl”… though I may be wrong! She’s very pretty, in any case.
- Well, it looks like the manga’s officially over. Yuugi beat the Pharaoh in a duel, and the Pharaoh went through the door to join the spirits of the priests and his father. There was a tearful goodbye, but no kiss for Anzu. The Sennen Items tablet cracked and broke, and the Items fell into darkness. Everyone ran out, and Shadi’s ghostly form appeared for a second. Kaiba and Mokuba were up in the desert to meet everyone somehow, and that was the end of it. I’m disappointed… But we might get some kind of epilogue later. - Just like everyone else, Noa’s dub voice is too old for him.

- Ah, Magician of Black Chaos again! I’m glad to see him again. I was afraid he wouldn’t come back again after Pegasus! Wow, he’s got a lot of hair…
- Noa’s deck master’s toes look funny.
- Aww… Pharaoh keeps his friends in his Soul Room. I wonder if it gets crowded in there! And poor Kaiba has to sit around in there too. ^_^
- Heh heh, so now it’s YUUGI’S Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon. I wonder what Kaiba would say to that!
