CofP: Yes, actually, Shadi did give Malik the Rod. Maybe long ago, but it did happen. Malik's father kept him, Isis, and their servant Rishid in the basement. One day, Malik decided to break out to see the city or something. He met Shadi, who gave him the Rod and told him something along the lines of "Someone close to you will pay for your being here in blood." So Malik went back home and his father was beating Rishid to death. Yami Malik came out and killed his father, and then Shadi told him that it was the will of the Pharaoh. So that's Malik's story. Maybe it's different in the anime from the manga, though. Lots of things are.
Crystal Rain: Yes, I think Yami Bakura did actually reach in and scoop out the Eye. That's why Pegasus screamed. That would hurt a lot! As for the god cards, we can only wait and see. Who knows...
Lori Kimaya: When does Digimon come on on Sundays? What time? And in what time zone? I must see this new song you speak of..
JaguarKitty2006: Well, here's my theory on the Cyber Commander versus the goons' guns. The Cyber Commander's just a card, so it's okay because it's like having a toy gun. Looks like some dubbers need a lesson in the heart of the cards, huh? ^_^

condition, and I guess it's good for that. Or something.
And Yuugi's pupils only
stay in place when his head moves that once in the Shadow Realm, that I
remember. I think he moved his head in a similar way since then, and it wasn't
the same.
On to the new stuff!!
- What's with the "Yaw-duh-moo" in the opening song? Is it supposed to mean something? I don't get it...
- I may be wrong, but isn't maniacal laughter inappropriate for reading comic books?
- What other prisoners did Pegasus have when Croquet told him that one of them, Mokuba, had escaped?
- At least once, Mokuba calls Seto "Kaiba." They're BROTHERS!! No way would Mokuba call Seto by their last name.
- How did Mokuba keep all his hair under that little hat when he broke out of the castle?
- The fact that Mokuba's Man-Eating Plant lost to Yuugi's Winged Dragon had little to do with the heart of the cards. In that case, it was just a weaker monster and Mokuba should learn to look at attack power.
- Do you ever get the feeling that the dubbers are putting meaningless techno-babble into Seto's mouth?
- Okay, I see how bad the gun-editing was when those thugs went to kill Seto. I still think the ones chasing Bakura and Honda were worse, though.
- If you listen to the fake evil Kaiba, his voice sounds like James from Pokemon. Same as the real Kaiba. So Seto, fake Seto, Pegasus, Brock, James, and countless others all share a voice actor.
- Wouldn't it be horrible to have to destroy your own monster with the heart of the cards like Seto did to his Blue-Eyes White Dragon when his evil side faced Yuugi?
- When Yuugi played the Mystical Elf against Kaiba's nasty dark half, did he refer to her as "him"? I thought he did.
- Kemo's got a lumpy face!
- Where did Croquet run off to when Pegasus drew himself and Yuugi into the Shadow Realm? I'd think that he would keep Jonouchi, Honda, and Anzu away from the dueling arena.
- Oh no, now everyone's doing friendship rants! They seem to be able to stop the Shadow powers. So that's why the Shadow Realm bubble rejected Tea!
- The Magician of Black Chaos's eyes are almost like Yami's!
- I think I still like the Dark Magician a bit better, but the Magician of Black Chaos is quite yummy himself, don't you agree?
- Does Yami Bakura really think of his Sennen Ring as his "collection" of Sennen Items? Because that's what he calls it when he's talking to Pegasus. Rather small collection, isn't it?
- I'm impressed with Yami Bakura's tarot skills. I doubt he'd have the Happy Lover card in his deck for any other reason!
- Not very nice to read someone else's diary, is it Tea? I'd do the same thing, though.
- *squeal!* Pegasus was such a cute little kid!!
- I'm no expert on accents, but in Pegasus's flashback, Shadi sounded vaguely Scottish. Is that what Egyptian accents are supposed to sound like? Perhaps we should fear for Malik's voice even more...
- Yami Yuugi's soul room is pretty gloomy...
- I wish Yuugi could have talked to Shadi more!
- Those Eliminators have huge dueling gloves! They'd have to have really strong arms just to hold them up.
- Notice that Exodia is chained. What would its power be without those restraints? Even better? Or would it turn against its master as well?
- In his duel with Kaiba, didn't Jonouchi think to look at the Battle Ox's attack power before he played his Armored Lizard?
- Speaking of names and the Battle Ox, they called it Minotaurus at first.
- Sometimes when Pegasus's hair floats around, it gets a lot longer.
- Yuugi seems to claim to have started a "whole new game" pretty often.
- When Yami thinks of Yuugi as he plays the Chaos Ritual card, Yuugi looks cross-eyed!
- Isn't it amazing how no one ever attacks their opponent's life points directly (that is, without any opposing monsters there to resist an attack) when they have the chance? It would really save a lot of time. Until that little creep Rebecca, that is. Grr, I hate her.
- I'm not sure I understand Polymerization. Is it just like plain old fusion, like what I can use in Forbidden Memories? Or can it combine ANY monsters?
- Did you know that the Eliminators are called Player Killers in the Japanese version? That's what the big "P" and "K" on Panik's coat stood for.
- Without the Eye, Pegasus looked so young and innocent.
- Shadi possesses the Sennen Scales as well as the Ankh (Key). Why does he not keep them with him? (Shameless Plug Alert! For more on this subject, read my other story, "Three In One Combo!")
- Oh, sorry. I don't mean to go off on a rather unrelated topic, but if anyone taped the part where Shadi met Yuugi, and went into his mind, and afterwards, if you could type up a script-thing for me, I'd be eternally grateful. I tried to tape it without the commercials, but I forgot to hit the "record" button a few times, so I didn't get most of it. And I'll need that in a while for Three In One Combo.
- Shadi's not very tall. Taller than Yuugi of course, but that's not saying a lot.
- Aww, Seto's so nice when he smiles!
- They're officially calling Yuugi's spirit "Yami"! Will they associate that name with Bakura and Malik's spirits too? I had just gotten used to using "Spirit," as you can see. Oh well.
- Yami remembers he was called "Pharaoh"? Just how much DOES he remember?
- I really hate that stupid Rebecca girl. What a brat! She and Tea should be locked in a closet together. Perhaps they'd both kill each other!
- I wanna go to Kaibaland!!
- The Millennium Sheild was a candidate to be a Millennium Item. What would its power have been like? Maybe it was too powerful and was sealed in a card instead.
- Pegasus must have spent ages copying the pictures of Duel Monsters from the Egyptian hieroglyphics.
- They're switching card names a little late in the series, don't you think? Is it Defense Paralysis or Stop Defense?
- Wow, and talk about strange! How could two duels be completely identical? Haven't they been shuffling their decks enough?
- People just leave their decks on their dueling platforms a lot, don't they? Yet most of the time, no one steals them.
- Yuugi gave his great, one-of-a-kind Ties Of Friendship card that Pegasus made especially for him to that BRAT!? Ack!!! I can't believe it!
- Hey, what does the Ties Of Friendship card do, anyway? Besides fixing the Blue-Eyes White Dragon card? And will Grandpa keep that card, or give it to Yuugi, or return it to Rebecca's grandfather? Or, heaven forbid, give it to the brat? Please no, not the last one...
- In the Japanese version, Croquet was supposed to ask Yuugi to forgive Pegasus for his actions. I wish they hadn't left that out. Stupid dubbers.
- Quick poll for all of you! Which Sennen Item would you want to have if you could have any of them? To review, the Rod can control people's minds, the Eye reads minds and steals souls, the Ankh can see into souls, the Scales judge a person and condemn them if they are dishonest, the Tauk can see a short distance into the future, the Ring can steal souls and point to other Sennen Items and other such things, and the Puzzle... I'm not sure what the Puzzle can do that the others can't. But it does seem to be the strongest. They can all manipulate cards, etc. I'd want the Ankh, myself. Or the Eye, as a second choice. Not in my head, though!
Endnote: Not too exciting this week. I loved the last episode of the Yuugi/Pegasus duel, and the Shadi episode too, but I was quite disappointed with the Rebecca episodes because she's a LOSER! Sorry if anyone liked her. But I didn't.
