The main group was 15 years old at the beginning of the series. And Mariku was 16, which might be how old everyone else is by the time they meet him! He‘s just amazingly mature for his age (he acts far older than me a lot of the time!).
Oh at the very end, when Yami Yuugi beats Yami Mariku and regular Mariku gets back in control of his body, I assume his voice will be nice like that again.

I always just heard some kind of squeal that sounded like “Oooeee.” The only thing I can compare it to is the turquoise cabbit (cat/rabbit) thing that shows up twice in “Slayers: NEXT.” But I know most of you haven’t seen that, so that doesn’t help any!

My school has an exchange program with a university in Japan. It’s called Kansai Gaidai in the Kansai region. It’s between Osaka, Kyoto, and some other largish city around there.

Oh yes, I think the three Ghouls really did beat Namu up. Those kicks and punches looked pretty hard. But Mariku’s tough. He can take it. He was making them do it in the first place, because if they just beat up/captured Anzu and Jounouchi, it would be obvious that Namu wasn‘t really as innocent as he seemed.
Oh don’t worry, Bakura leaves the hospital in time to be among the final eight contestants.

Trupana: The Shadow Realm seemed cool at first, but now it’s just overused so much that it’s become a cheap gag. It’s nothing more than a lie to cover up death or serious injuries.
Who knows, maybe the opportunity to go to Japan will come upon you some day! And if not, you can take a vacation there some time! Though everything’s very expensive there…
Crossover Authoress: Out of curiosity, when you call her “Mia,” is it really pronounced that way over there, is it some kind of alternate spelling I haven’t heard of, or is it just a common typo for “Mai”?
Yeah, I think Yami was just giving Mai a chance to fight for herself… But her problem was that she was horribly lonely and Yami Mariku was making her forget the friends she had made and therefore lose hope. So I think a little more help from Yami would have been nice.
Well I don’t know if Pegasus is even really back… Because when he’s dueling Kaiba, he pulls off his face and it’s some new girl!

You’re right about the gods, but I’m pretty sure that Set is Osiris’s brother. And Isis, Osiris, and Horus are all against Set, but Set supports and helps Ra. I’m not sure how Ra feels about Isis, Osiris, and Horus.

But since she‘s a Duel Monster now, I don‘t think she has a reincarnation. I‘m pretty sure Mahaado and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon girl don‘t have reincarnations either.

Yeah, “Mariku” is just the real way Malik’s name would be spelled in Romanji, due to the lack of an “L” and the presence of silent “U”s in Japanese.

Yep, the Ghouls had a whole miniature fight with Namu, Jounouchi, and Anzu, which consisted mainly of the Ghouls beating the others up.

- Wow, Otogi's cheerleaders are annoying... I wonder what became of them.
- Ack, I missed most of the second DDM episode again... There were about 26 tornadoes around this time. I'm just not meant to see the dubbed version of that episode. ^_^
- Was it just me, or did Yami's little laugh at the end of the fourth DDM episode sound rather sinister?
- Mariku said that Yuugi "May have beaten Bandit Keith in Duelist Kingdom." They never faced each other before!
- Yuugi called Mariku a "mind-controlling freak." Lookin a mirror some time! He didn't know anything about Mariku at all at that point!
- ...And this "Duel Camp" thing is yet another example of why the various shows should not mix.
- Oh no, they had Shaggy say "*Sacred* Zucchini"! Not religious words! Anything but that!
