Scale: In case you’d hoped these stupid things were gone, you were wrong. What a pain. Luckily, Indigo still doesn’t own Yu-Gi-Oh. At least we have that to be thankful for…
Not many things to respond to from you today, but hopefully there will be more in the future. I realize it’s inconvenient to have to come here for them, so I appreciate all the reviews even more than usual!

Yami Yugi’s eyes are supposed to be red. They sometimes look violet because that’s Yugi’s eye color. I don’t know about the blue… But in the first season, Ryou had green eyes and Bakura had red ones. And now they’re both brown-eyed.
I think Roseboro (Noa’s father) chose Seto because he looked like Noa. That and he was incredibly smart.
Hmm, maybe Otogi’s been reading minds or something! Or maybe it’s a generic dog suit that anyone can get anywhere. In case you find someone you need to stick in it.
I’ve never played Dark Duel Stories, just Forbidden Memories. But my friend who has it likes it a lot.
Ooh, cool pictures! I agree though, some of the yaoi pictures were a bit much…

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Yu Yu Hakusho manga outside of Shonen Jump… I got my “Music to Duel By” CD from FYE, but I haven’t seen it anywhere lately. I’m sure you could find it on amazon.com or somewhere like that if nothing else. Try to get it cheap, it’s really not that good. Though I could still listen to it all day…
I’ve made my brother (who’s almost 13) and sister (almost 7) into little Yu-Gi-Oh fans. ^_^
I’ve seen the dub sold in a few places… I don’t want it, though. If I got anything, it would be the original with subtitles.
Shenya: I’ve always wondered about where various anime is released… After Japan, it seems to go to the U.S, then Canada, then places like Britain and parts of Europe…
Nano*Mecka: I know, how can Serenity be so short? She’s supposed to be about 14!

I was so glad about the new episode! I liked this week’s one better, though. Marik finally got to introduce himself.
Rosz of the Angel: I think either Ryou or Shadi’s going to be in the next issue of Shonen Jump. I just got a subscription so I’ll know!
Yami Nikki: Yeah, Dark Duel Stories seems to have all the accurate dub names… I’m so glad Malik is Marik, not Terrence…
- Maybe it’s just been a long time since I was paying attention, but why is it Yugi’s destiny to enter Battle City? Just because he and Seto are ancient rivals?
- Yugi must get tired of seeing Yami’s picture in place of his own all the time.
- I like the way monsters come out of the Battle City Duel Disks.
- A NEW THEME SONG!!! EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited at that, I scared my brother! ^_^
- The Rare Hunter’s hand-monster he had was weird.
- All of Malik’s mind control victims have creepy eyes.

- Weevil still looks creepy, but his new glasses are better. I like Weevil.
- You’d think Joey and Yugi would have gone to Battle City together and walked around together too…
- Ack, Weevil’s voice is horribly worse. Rex’s might have gotten a bit better, though.
- Ah, the Rare Hunter drinks tea (was it tea?) out of fancy, frilly cups. ^_^
- Eew, and the Rare Hunter has hairy lips, too. Or at least lined lips. Nasty. And pointy teeth! His face is too long and his mouth is too wide.
- Ooh, the new spinning Yugi-to-Yami transformation in his first Rare Hunter episode was a lot better than the old one.
- I wonder what ever happened to bandit Keith? Did he just run off crazily?
- Did Seto hire a group of about 20 sisters to work on looking at duels for him?
- How would Yugi know that the Rare Hunter was summoning Exodia? He could have been waiting to get something else. And it didn’t seem like Yami used any mind-reading powers.
- Eee! That theme song was so cool!!
- Shadi looks a bit pissed off in his portrait in Pegasus’s castle. Maybe he doesn’t like being painted…
- I got the second issue of Shonen Jump the other day. I’m sending off for a subscription now… But wow, people do all kinds of sick, twisted stuff to poor Yugi!
- …And Yugi’s still a little pervert! Jonouchi encourages him too much.
- I think in the manga, Yami’s getting slowly cooler-looking and less insane…
- I like the ankhs on Yami’s sleeves in the manga!
- Those clown noise-detectors Yami used in one of his manga games were creepy…
- Did Anzu squirt “tell and you die” on Yugi and Jou’s burgers in the anime too, or was it just random squirts there?
- Does anyone have a manga/season 1 schedule or episode guide or anything? I think either Shadi or Bakura shows up in the next issue, but I’m not sure…
- The part of the new theme song with Rishid and Malik’s eye was so cool! So many parts are so great!
- Wouldn’t Joey check his jacket pocket to make sure his Glory of the King’s Hand card was still there before going out to duel?
- Has anyone seen the Meteor Black Dragon? It’s only in the video games so far. It’s much stronger than the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, and really scary! It’s in my Forbidden Memories deck and I’m STILL a little leery of it!
- It’d be hard to try to stop a yami from taking control your mind/actions/luck/strategy when he’d already taken control of your body, like Yugi tried to do. I thought it was annoying when it was new, but now I guess it would have been hard if Yami hadn’t cooperated.
- Mai and Seto should get together some time. They both have that great “Stop acting pathetic and snap out of your self-pity” attitude. ^_^
- Grandpa had a poster with the Harpie’s Pet Dragon on it in the game shop, and Yugi still didn’t recognize it!
- I love Harpie Lady’s ears when she uses Harpie’s Feather Duster! All wingy!
- The name “Seto” means “sea horse” (“Mokuba” means “rocking horse” and “Kaiba” is “suffering”), but it was also based on Set, the Egyptian god who seems quite mean and scary… I suspected that before, but now I know Kazuki Takahashi meant it that way too.
- I always thought Takahashi-san liked Pegasus best, but he says his favorite villains are Seto and maybe Keith. He never meant to portray any villains as purely “evil,” he says. Makes me wonder about Yami Marik…
- Tea looks like Keiko from Yu Yu Hakusho.
- Rrg, no! Seto’s not an evil enemy who the world needs to be saved from. Just a mean rival. Even if he might need another mind crush…
- I’m not sure if I like Seto’s new white trench coat.
- Seto’s new buckle-ridden pants remind me of the Magician of Black Chaos.
- What if Seto hadn’t drawn Obelisk after the duel robot made the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon? Oops, no more Seto…

- If Yugi beat the Rare Hunter, shouldn’t he win Exodia since that was his rarest card/set of cards?
- The Rare Hunter’s creepy. I wonder if he has a name? Seeing him drink tea made him seem more human some how.
- Yugi seems to have a lot of new cards.

- Wow, the Rare Hunter was defeated in one turn. And Marik’s not happy!
- I’m not thrilled with the pronunciation of “Marik,” but it’s better than Terrence! I’ll probably go back and forth between “Malik” and “Marik,” but you know who I mean.
- Rrg, Marik’s voice is so wrong for him…
